In Blog 5 I claimed that if you think logically Gods existence you are going to come to the conclusion that there is a God or a creator. Some people believe that there isn't a God or a creator and the only reason we are hear today is mainly because of evolution which began during the Big Bang. Evolution throws some interesting facts and points out reasonable facts about the wonders of nature and how we adapt to our surroundings. God supposedly created all of mankind so why is there more different types of species evolving today? Another good argument against the existence of God was the Big Bang Theory which by theory states that our universe formed as a singularity and overtime expanded and evolved over billions of years till this day. With our universe still growing and expanding today it leaves consistent evidence that it is considered a great explanation. I believe that these are reasonable arguments but still no reasonable evidence. Science says in order to have a creation you must have a creator which leaves out the Big Bang theory and evolution. When you think about it science so far has come up with theories that link to God or a creator. Science states that at one point there was a beginning and it also states there must be a creator. Faith or religion states that there was a beginning and a creator or God. So logically they state the same thing.

Is it reasonable to believe in God?

Human kind has been pondering with this question dating back to when we believe earth was created, 14 billion years ago. Is there possibly a spirit out there who ponders over our very existence and accepts us by our doing here on earth to decide if we shall be let into his kingdom of happiness? In the book it asks a question "Is there any good reason to believe our world was created by an all-powerful deity?" (Rachels and Rachels 11).
No one has ever come into contact nor spoke to God and all we know of his existence is what "man" believes is true by faith depending on religion. So does faith over exceed scientific evidence and is it only from faith you can prove there is a God? Science provides good evidence that links us to believe and have these thoughts. We know from science that we must have a creator to have creation so that leads to another question about his existence which is who would of created God or was God the creation? Science also has evidence from physics calculations that there was a beginning which they express as the Big Bang Theory that proves at one point in time there was a beginning that was formed by some type of creation happening. This type of scientific evidence proves that even science agrees that a creator or creation took place at one time that formed earth. It seems if "science" and "faith" almost link and agree with one another and as long as you can think logically you are going to come to the conclusion that there is a God or a creator. I feel that it is not for us to understand our creator it is only to believe.

Big Bang Theory
Provides us with scientific information gathered overtime which gives a brief explanation on why or how the beginning of the universe began. But in all it still stands a theory. The theory states that "our universe is thought to have begun as an infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, infinitely dense, something - a singularity" (Big Bang Theory). Overtime they believe universe began to cool and expand and still is to this day eventually forming into our planet. With the evidence showing how our universe is still expanding to this day leaves a great footprint and consistent evidence on how the Big Bang Theory is considered a great explanation.

Creation
"Creation is a doctrinal position in many religions and philosophical belief systems which maintains that one or more deities is responsible for creating the universe" (Creation (theology). Creation had to start somewhere even before the "Big Bang" which leaves an argument on how one can argue something had to create these "singularities" which would eventually expand and form our planet. You can also argue on why or how would a creator or deities that has never been witnessed perform just one time events and never again.

Evolution
Natural Selection founded by Darwin gives reliable evidence how species adapt and change to survive in certain types of habitats. In the book it gives an example of how wolves with thicker fur will only survive in cold habitats and will continue to breed. Science has also collected evidence of human ancestors and compared skulls and body types which are very different from 3 million years ago. Fossils and scientific study by manipulation have also supported its theory. Given the impact of natural selection on evolution it entwines with creation and gives little support for a creator or deities because God supposedly created all of man kind when there is more and more different types of species evolving today.
Religion
. Dating back to the Minoan Civilization it shows how worship and religion were a factor of everyday society but overtime it drastically changed as religion changed and different beliefs evolved overtime. If our ancestors had no reliable evidence or facts except there own mythological gods like Zeus and Athena then how is it natural or moral to believe in the bible which is said to be written by god himself. Why didn’t our ancestors have a bible at the time? There are only two acceptable answers for how we got here, and if naturalistic processes are incapable of the task, then special creation must be the correct answer.

God
I like to look at Gods Existence as the missing link that no one can ever explain. He is the main link that the majority of society tends to focus there lives upon and live under his moral obligations to be accepted into his heaven.

God and the Origin of the Universe

I decided to look more into the "God and the Origin of the Universe" since it is challenging and ultimately a difficult question to answer if you don't understand why or how are existence took place. God cannot be found except only believed by faith. So why do so many people believe in something they never even saw?

Discuss three things I have learned:

Significant scientific information shows that earth did have a beginning and was never always here, known by the "Big Bang Theory." So there is a reliable argument and evidence the theory exists, now what about why and how would God exist? A interesting statement that I crossed while reading the article, "Creation was a supernatural event. That is, it took place outside the natural realm."(Big Bang Theory). So why can't the existence of a supernatural God be in existence? Everything that exists must have a cause.

Darwin is famous for his "Natural Selection theory," in which his research and studies show how dominant traits and characteristics keep the strong surviving and reproducing overtime. Studies have evened shown that Darwin was indeed correct with his theory now how would this effect the existence of God? The more I look into how evolution dates its existence all the way back to the "Big Bang," it can be easy to say that God is simply the main link or the event that took place the day evolution began. Maybe the word "God" is simply a word used to describe the event know one could ever explain.

Two Topics that interest me from our book;
1. God and the origin of the universe.
2. The Meaning of Life

Both topics interest me because both are questioned everyday throughout life and are never going to be answered except to ones own perspective or belief. God and the Origin of the Universe has become arguably the most controversial topic to date. It states in our book that, 56 percent of Americans say that religion plays a "very important" part in our lives (Rachels 10). Out this 56 percent how many different religions and beliefs come into play? I would also like to look in more of the evolution side of the topic and the arguments that go along with it. For example, Darwin's theories about evolution. As for the Meaning of Life, I would like to explore since it is probably the ultimate question of human mankind that has so many left out questions that I would like to put into my own perspective. For example, How did we get here? What are we supposed to do here? Where do I go when its all over? Maybe a better understanding of these perspectives can help better myself.
